What experience do I need?
We ask for a minimum of 2 years ABTA experience within the last 5 years.
Can I choose my own hours?
Yes, you chose the hours you work. We do however ask that you commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Is there a minimum sales value?
There are no sales values put in place for you. What you achieve is simply down to you and how much hard work you put in.
How much training will I receive?
You will receive a four day comprehensive induction at our Head Office in Sunderland. This will include system training, company procedures, meet the teams, business development, marketing and advice on running your own business.
How long will it take to be up and running?
Once we receive your signed consultancy agreement, we can have you up and running in four to six weeks time.
What kind of support will I receive?
We have a dedicated Homeworker Support team who are there to answer all of your queries, they will support you with business development too.
We have a Marketing team who are there to give sound advice on how to market your business and many other teams who can help you along the way, all at the end of the phone.
Is there any out of hours support?
Many of our departments are open well into the evening dependant on your query. We will be more than happy to provide further details.
What happens when I go on holiday?
The Homeworker Support team can set you up with a buddy, who can help with bookings and queries whilst you are away.
We also have a Customer Services team who can answer client queries with existing bookings if you are on holiday.
What technology will be provided?
You will be provided with the following:

* Telephone with headset and answer machine
* In-house selling and booking management systems
* Hays Travel Intranet site
* Incentives, competitions & educationals
* Personalised website for Personal Travel Consultants
How much can I earn?
That is entirely up to you, the more you put in the more you get out. The earning potential is unlimited. Our top sales-people all say that they make more now, than they ever could working in a branch/call centre.

Our Marketing team can give advice and guidance on how to market your business. We can pull together your ideas in no time, ready to send to your clients.
I want to book Corporate Travel, is this possible with Hays?
Yes, we can provide GDS access, a booking management system and support around any Corporate accounts that you manage.
